Job summary

Beacon Health System in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Part-time Night Shift PCA for the Surgical Vascular KAL department. You will assist with direct patient care under supervision, stock supplies, and locate equipment while maintaining compassionate care and teamwork. The role includes shift work 7AM-7PM every other weekend/holiday and requires completion of orientation and CPI competencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (and six months direct patient care preferred)
• Must complete orientation/training and competencies.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and promote collaboration.
• Must have computer skills to enter and retrieve patient information.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, assist with direct patient care.
• Order and stock unit supplies and locate shared equipment.
• Complete tasks timely and efficiently to support patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff; adhere to mission and values.
