Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the night shift. Work 7pm–7:30am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 36 hours weekly. You will support RN staff and assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification or relevant experience, and strong communication skills within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification or 6 months PCA experience, or clinical rotation in nursing school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights and rounds for assistance.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered patient environment.
