Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to mobilize and transport patients throughout our facilities during a night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will use lift equipment, maintain safety, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure timely patient movements.

Must have a high school diploma and AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification; hospital experience preferred. Schedule includes weekend every other.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transports of patients using lift equipment and mobilization aids.
• Maintain transport tracking/logs and coordinate with nursing staff for patient hand-offs.
• Communicate effectively with the team and ensure safe pathways for patient movement.
• Ensure equipment is available, cleaned, and stored properly for transports.
