Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professional (American Heart Association) is REQUIRED.
• 1 year hospital experience or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobilizing patients using lift equipment and mobility aids.
• Transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients using the transport tracking system.
• Ensure patient monitoring and safe environmental pathway during transport.
• Communicate patient information to appropriate staff and units.
• Maintain logs and complete patient sign-in/out procedures where applicable.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and ensure correct hand-off protocols.
