Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, scheduling, and bed assignments for patient flow.
• Screen admissions for appropriateness of level of care and bed needs.
• Lead Bed Control Meetings and coordinate patient movement across the facility.
• Identify barriers to throughput and recommend process improvements.
• Direct EVS staff and transporters to ensure timely task completion.
• Monitor response times and escalate delays to supervisors.
• Note: duties may expand beyond listed duties.
