Job summary

Boone Hospital Group is seeking a dedicated nursing support staff member to assist licensed nurses in providing safe patient care on the Night Shift.

The role includes ADL assistance, vital signs, phlebotomy, and data collection to support patient assessments. It requires CNA certification or active enrollment in a nursing program, with a strong emphasis on safety and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in nursing education or CNA certification recognized in Missouri.
• Certification as CNA preferred or eligible for licensure within 90 days.
• Experience as patient care technician, nurse aide, or EMT is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADL) and monitors vital signs as requested.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes to the nurse in charge.
• Supports patient education and safety, and may serve as a 1:1 safety sitter when needed.
