Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Night shift at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL. The PCT will support the patient care team, assisting RNs, LPNs, and physicians with routine tasks and activities of daily living, under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and CNA program completion or clinical rotation experience. Preference given to candidates with prior acute care or home care exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or Health Occupations Program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nursing Student or 1 year patient care experience in acute care, nursing home, or home care preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and vitals signs; provide routine and non-complex patient care.
