Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama seeks a Patient Care Technician 1 East FT to support the patient care team in routine and non-complex duties. You will assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in the patient care process, including activities of daily living and vital signs, per unit protocol.

The role requires a high school graduate, CNA program completion preferred, and BLS certification. The position offers a third shift at Baptist Medical Center East with exposure to clinical duties and patient

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program preferred.
• First clinical rotation as a Nurse Student or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care.
• Support RNs, LPNs, and physicians in the patient care process.
• Perform duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
