Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the Intercare Department team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. You will work with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs and specimen collection, assisting with examinations, dressing changes, and patient care activities.

Qualifications

• GED or HiSET is required.
• BLS and CNA certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and monitors vital signs.
• Performs approved procedures including dressing changes, specimen collection, EKGs, and Point-of-Care testing.
• Assists nurses and providers with examinations, treatments, and patient care activities.
