Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required or preferred
• CNA certification preferred or
• CPCT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care services and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record patient data including vital signs and intake/output; report findings to RN/LPN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility; assist with positioning and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring; document results.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies and standards.
