Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Elmhurst Hospital. The role operates on nights (7 pm–7:30 am) with rotating holidays and weekends, full-time at 36 hours per week, located at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL.

The position supports RNs by delivering essential patient care tasks to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being of patients. Requirements include CPR certification, completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or equivalent experience, and must complete the Care

Qualifications

• CPR certification current with American Heart Association
• Completion of accredited nursing assistant training or 6+ months of patient care experience or nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of the Care Companion Course within 6 months if required by the department
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to follow directions

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN
• Ensure patient comfort and safety according to established procedures
