Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Med Surg Unit. You will assist nurses by monitoring vitals, helping patients with ADLs, and handling routine tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This full-time night shift (6:30pm–7:00am) offers essential patient support, documentation, and collaboration with a healthcare team. No prior hospital experience is required, and orientation includes BLS CPR training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• No prior experience required, but related training preferred.
• STNA/CNA/PCT training or nursing school rotations accepted.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs (temperature, heartbeat, respiration).
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine.
• Report changes in a patients condition to a nurse.
• Assist with ADLs, weighing patients, and other tasks as directed.
