Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support the Surgical Unit under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role centers on direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct care experience preferred (acute or long-term) or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in completing ADLs.
• Demonstrate sterile or aseptic technique as appropriate.
• Establish and maintain a clean, safe patient care environment for patients and families.
• Record patient information and required data for documentation and charging.
• Complete delegated unit-specific activities.
