Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN in the Rapid Decision Unit. This full-time role supports patient safety and well-being during the 7:00 pm–7:00 am shift, with every-other weekend and three holidays per year for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, sterile technique, and accurate documentation, contributing to a clean, safe environment and patient-family centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care as delegated by the RN in order to help achieve treatment goals.
• Assists patient in completing activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Demonstrates sterile or aseptic technique when performing delegated activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient care environment for patients and families.
• Records patient information and required data in appropriate systems for documentation and charging.
