Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Care Tech to join the Evanston Hospital team. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver patient care during night shifts, handle routine tasks, monitor vital signs, and assist with procedures to support patient wellbeing.

The role emphasizes compassionate bedside care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and positive patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (C.N.A.) training course preferred, or completion of nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care.
• Assist with vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, Foley catheter removal, specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, feeding, and admissions/discharge prep.
• Assist with implementation of patient-specific care plans.
• Participate in activities essential to the patient care unit.
• Promote safety and high quality patient experience.
