Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Seasonal Patient Care Technician for the Central Staffing Office in Arlington, TX. This PRN role requires 36 hours per week with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM and a pay rate of $30.00 per hour.

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and either 1 year of recent experience or be a nursing student who has completed fundamentals or military medical training. BCLS certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year experience within last 3 years required or nursing student with completed fundamentals or military medical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to plan of care.
• Collect patient data and report significant findings to nurse.
• Assist in admission/transfer/discharge and daily living activities.
• Perform technical procedures safely and accurately.
• Enter orders and document appropriately.
• Adapt care with nurse input to reflect patient population and beliefs.
