Job summary
Texas Health Resources in Arlington, TX is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery in the Central Staffing Office. This PRN role requires 36 hours per week with night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) and requires TX RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS, and perinatal certifications.
You may float across Region C as needed to support THR hospitals, with additional benefits and a collaborative team environment. Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred),
Qualifications
- TX RN license upon hire
- 5 years nursing experience with 3 years in last five in L&D
- CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency
- BLS, ACLS, NRP and perinatal certifications required
- Must be able to float regionally across THR facilities
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive, compassionate care to patients and families
- Maintain privacy, safety, confidentiality, and tranquility in care settings
- Collaborate with health care team members across units
- Demonstrate professionalism and reliability in all interactions
- Engage family/caregivers in care decisions when appropriate
- Explain health information clearly to patients and families
- Respond to safety, physical, psychological and social needs promptly
- Adapt to shift changes and regional staffing needs
