Job summary

Norman Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant to join the Ortho floor on the night shift (7p–7a). You will provide basic patient care, help maintain a safe environment, and support nurses with vital signs and routine tasks.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED and CNA certification or six months of recent healthcare experience. BLS is preferred; PRN benefits include paid time off and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• CNA certification or six months of recent experience as a nursing assistant, or completion of an acute care nurse aide course.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Takes and records vitals and relays to nurse.
• Provides routine nursing care and treatments.
• Assists with patient processing and coordination.
• Performs clerical receptionist tasks.
• Provides department-specific support.
• Assumes additional duties as needed.
