Job summary

AtlantiCare's Patient Care Tech in the Progressive Care Unit provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision, supporting the care team, collecting specimens, and assisting with treatment and documentation.

This part-time night role requires a high school diploma, BLS, CPI training, English proficiency, and a willingness to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training within 1 year of hire or transfer or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with personal care needs and communicate observations to the care team.
• Collect specimens and document care activities according to procedures; may perform limited laboratory tasks.
