Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Medical Surgical Observation Unit in Norman, OK. The role supports basic patient care, vital signs, and care coordination on a fast-paced telemetry/medical-surgical unit with a 24-bed capacity.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Nursing Assistant certification or six months of recent CNA experience required.
- Six months of recent nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Current CNA certification or nursing school coursework can substitute experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic patient care.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment.
- Takes and records vital signs and relays to the nurse.
- Performs general nursing care and routine procedures.
- Facilitates processing of patients.
- Provides clerical receptionist support.
- Provides coordinating support.
- Performs additional unit-specific duties.
