Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care and assist in keeping a safe, clean environment. You will take vital signs, relay information to the nurse, and perform routine treatments while supporting clerical and coordinating tasks within the department.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification or 6 months of CNA experience, and a current BLS certification or orientation-based training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CNA certification or 6 months of recent CNA experience required.
• Six months of recent healthcare experience may substitute CNA requirements.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care and routine treatments.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Takes and records vital signs and relays data to the nurse.
• Provides clerical receptionist and coordinating support as needed.
• Performs additional department duties as required.
