Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Surgical Unit in Norman, OK. The role supports the delivery of safe, compassionate clinical care in a 32-bed unit, collaborating with nurses and patient care techs.

Schedule is Day shift, 7a-7p, Regular Full Time. Compensation ranges from $14.29 to $23.34 per hour, with evening, night, and weekend differentials. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more, plus tuition reimbursement and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Nursing Assistant certification or 6 months experience required as an equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Takes and records vital signs and communicates to the nurse.
• Provides general nursing care and routine procedures.
• Facilitates processing of patients.
• Provides clerical receptionist support.
• Provides coordinating support.
• Performs other duties as needed for department.
