Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for night-weekend shifts. The role involves providing direct bedside care, supporting clinical emergencies, and participating in quality improvement activities within a hospital unit.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification required
• CNA/CPCT/A or EMT certification required
• 1+ year of PCT experience preferred
• Experience with bedside patient care in acute care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports quality standards.
• Follows isolation guidelines and uses protective equipment; maintains hand hygiene and safety regulations.
• Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously
