Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Full Time Patient Care Tech for nights. The technician will assist in routine patient care, document vital signs, collect lab specimens, and support dietary and bedside needs.

Role includes nonclinical duties at the PSU nursing desk and charting in the EHR, with training provided for licenses and certifications within 3 months. Join a comprehensive benefits program and a collaborative medical team.

Qualifications

• Assists in all phases of routine patient care.
• Obtains and documents vital signs.
• Collects lab specimens as directed by clinical staff.
• Ambulates patients and assists with mobility.
• Responds to patient requests and coordinates with dietary services.
• Performs nonclinical duties at the PSU nursing desk such as charting and billing entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks under supervision.
• Document vitals and nursing notes accurately.
• Assist with specimen collection and specimen transport.
• Aid in patient mobility and comfort.
• Support administrative duties at PSU desk and with charting.
