Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Part-Time Nights Patient Care Technician to support the Intensive Care Unit at All Saints Medical Center, Ft Worth. You would perform tasks under a licensed nurse’s supervision and help deliver patient care while supporting families.

Responsibilities include collecting data, recording vital signs, assisting with ADLs, taking care of hygiene, and completing rounds, admissions/discharges forms, with strict adherence to hospital policies and routines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data and vital signs; assist with activities of daily living.
• Answer call bells and complete patient rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation.
• Support patient hygiene and comply with hospital policies.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician performs various duties under a licensed nurse's supervision. Helps deliver patient care and meet family needs. Follows the care plan, considering the patient's age and development stage.

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and help patients with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
• Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
