Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center Intermediate Care in Oklahoma City is seeking a Night Shift, full-time Patient Care Tech. The role supports direct patient care under RN supervision, handling tasks from basic hygiene to assisting with treatments.

Prior CNA training or Nursing Assistant certification is required, with English communication skills essential. This position emphasizes patient safety, adherence to care protocols, and collaboration with the care team to uphold quality patient

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Successful completion of a recognized nursing assistant course or CNA training program; or enroll and complete within 90 days.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks, such as mouth care, making beds, giving baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving patients, giving backrubs, and emptying bedpans or urinals
• Assists with patient safety issues such as identification armband checks, fall protocol adherence, and use of restraints; positions patients; promotes rest and sleep; reports incidents/injury occurrences
• Performs treatments such as urinary catheter care, enema administration, sitz baths, applying compresses, and assisting with ambulation
• May retrieve and transport medications
