Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Miami, OK, is seeking a Night Shift Patient Care Tech in the Progressive Care Unit to join our dedicated team. This full-time role supports RN-led patient care tasks and ensures patient safety and comfort during the overnight hours.

You will perform personal care activities, assist with mobility, safety protocols, and basic treatments under supervision, with orientation and ongoing training provided. BLS certification and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Department specific competencies will be completed in orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks, such as mouth care, making beds, giving baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving patients, and emptying bedpans or urinals.
• Assists with patient safety issues such as identification bands, fall protocol adherence and use of restraints, patient positioning and environment for rest.
• Performs treatments which may include urinary catheter care, enema administration, sitz baths, applying compresses, and assisting with ambulation.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
