Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Nursing assistant training or CNA program with lab/clinical rotation, or equivalent hospital experience.
• English communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks (mouth care, bed making, baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving, backrubs, bedpan/urinal care).
• Assists with patient safety, identification armband checks, fall precautions, restraints, patient positioning, rest environment, and incident reporting.
• Performs treatments such as catheter care, enemas, sitz baths, applying compresses, and assisting with ambulation.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
