Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Technician for Olson 6 Observation, full-time nights in Chicago. You will assist the RN with direct and indirect patient care, monitor vitals, and help with admission, transfer, and discharge as part of a collaborative care team.

As a CNA-certified caregiver with CPR/BLS, you will maintain a safe, clean environment and respond to patient needs promptly, ensuring comfort and safety for adults and neonates under supervision.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification or currently enrolled in Nursing with basic clinical rotations.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• High ethical standards; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Record vitals and basic measurements.
• Support RN with direct patient care and safety.
• Maintain clean, safe patient environment.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
