Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 1 year of division assignment.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse and aids in ADLs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes to the nurse.
• Educates patients and families; may act as a 1:1 safety sitter.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment for patient needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities; engages in professional development.
