Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands in Sparta, TN is seeking a dedicated nurse aide to support patients in the Behavioral Health department. You will assist with personal care, monitor vital signs, and report findings to nurses while providing compassionate, holistic support to patients during night shifts.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of relevant experience) and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Competenze

BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
Required licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education/experience.

Mansioni

Provide support and care for patients with a wide-array of diagnoses.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Take Vital Signs during your shift and report findings to nursing staff.
Contribute to the positive and encouraging physical, mental and emotional support for each patient.
