Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the Progressive Care unit from 7:00am to 7:30pm. This full-time day position requires 36 hours per week. You will check vital signs, assist with mobility, meals, and personal care, collect specimens, and report patient changes to nurses.

Training includes BLS CPR, with orientation provided. Education: high school diploma or GED; optional STNA/CNA training or nursing coursework may strengthen candidacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS CPR certification is required or can be obtained on orientation.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Assist patients with mobility, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine as directed.
• Report changes in patient condition to a nurse.
• Assist with ADLs and routine tasks to support care.
