Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
• Experience: PGY1 residency or three years of institutional pharmacy experience in an advanced clinical setting preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage pharmaceutical care with independence and composure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates preparation, distribution and dispensing of medication in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Maintains regulatory readiness and records related to pharmacy transactions.
• Manages pharmacy inventory, removes expired stock, and processes non-formulary requests.
• Interprets, evaluates and verifies all medication orders.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to optimize drug therapy and monitor for interactions and adverse effects.
