Qualifications

• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio
• PGY1 residency or three years of institutional pharmacy experience in an advanced clinical setting preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to plan, organize and manage pharmaceutical care
• Ability to work independently in a stressful environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, distribution, and dispensing of medication in compliance with regulations and policies; direct and assist pharmacy staff
• Maintain compliance and records for regulatory readiness and drug transactions, including controlled substances
• Assist in inventory management and processing non-formulary requests
• Interpret, evaluate and verify medication orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize drug therapy and monitor for interactions and adverse effects
