Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes reporting changes in patients’ condition and keeping rooms clean and orderly.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; BLS certification within the hire period, and nursing students may substitute clinical rotation for experience. Night shifts and alternating weekends/holidays apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Nursing students with clinical rotation may substitute required experience.
• Military medical experience considered (HM/68W/4N0X1).
• BLS certification within new hire period (Nursing students must obtain prior to hire).
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge must be demonstrated.
• Math and reading comprehension at junior high level.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Night shift 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
