Memorial Healthcare System in Miramar, FL is seeking a patient care assistant under RN supervision to perform basic care tasks and support clinical staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, phlebotomy, glucose checks, and assisting with activities of daily living while ensuring patient rooms stay stocked and clean. Three months of care experience or formal training is required, plus BLS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• No degree required; on-the-job training provided.
• BLS certifications (AHA) required or within six months of hire.
• Minimum 3 months patient care experience or completion of a formal training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs monitoring and phlebotomy.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Observe patient status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Transport patients as needed and maintain clean, stocked rooms.
