Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED considered only with a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.

Aufgaben

• Assist Registered Nurse in providing direct patient care to multiple patients on a designated nursing unit.
• Assist in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking) and maintain environmental cleanliness and safety.
• Support patients, visitors and staff, coordinate information needs and use wireless devices for documentation.
• Assist in basic nursing tasks delegated by the RN, including simple wound care, fingerstick glucose, urine dipstick, and basic specimen collection.
• Ensure accurate collection of data such as height, weight, vital signs, and intake/output and document appropriately.
