Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant to join our night shift team. You will work 12-hour nights 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., supporting RN staff and helping patients with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, assisting with hygiene, transporting patients, and keeping patient areas clean. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification or 6 months of direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance.
• Provide or assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressing.
• Transports patients as needed for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintains a clean and uncluttered environment in patient rooms.
