Scripps Health in La Jolla, San Diego, seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Surgical Acute unit at Scripps Green Hospital. This full-time, benefit-eligible role includes 12-hour night shifts and direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You’ll perform EKGs, take vitals, assist with patient transport and activities of daily living, and support the clinical team to ensure safe, high-quality care every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
• Assists patients with daily living activities and data collection to ensure a safe environment.
• Performs EKGs, takes vitals, and assists with patient transport.
• Supports unit with logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.
