Job summary

Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego is seeking a Clinical Support professional for the Surgical Acute unit. This full-time, night-shift role involves performing EKGs, taking vitals, patient transport, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of related experience or relevant nursing training, English fluency, strong interpersonal skills, and BLS certification. CNA certification and RN program progress are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience under a licensed healthcare provider OR current enrollment/completion of Nursing Assistant training or RN program.
• Ability to read, speak and follow instructions in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation.
• AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and take vital signs for patients.
• Transport patients and assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide support to clinicians and maintain patient safety.
• Assist with unit logistics, clerical tasks, equipment, and charge reconciliation.
