Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for a full-time night shift, with a 72hrs per pay period schedule and every other weekend/holidays per the CBA. The PCA delivers compassionate patient care under RN supervision, assisting with hygiene, daily living activities and mobility.

The candidate will participate in a team-focused, patient-centered environment and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or 6 months of direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or nursing school clinical rotation or Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups and uphold the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered patient environment.
