Trinity Health Muskegon is hiring a Night Shift Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for a full-time role. The PCA supports patient hygiene, ADLs, and collaborates with RNs to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. The position emphasizes adherence to the organization's mission and values.

This role includes responding to call lights, assisting with transfers, and maintaining a clean patient environment, with shifts aligning to the CBA requirements including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of direct patient care experience, or completion of at least 1 nursing clinical rotation, or enrollment in Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with diverse groups.

Responsabilités

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing.
• Transport patients as needed for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean, uncluttered patient environment.
