Trinity Health Muskegon is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for night shifts in a full-time role. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to support patient hygiene, daily living activities, and overall comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean and orderly patient room.
