Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic supportive care to pediatric patients under RN supervision. You will collect vitals, document data, and support safety and confidentiality while aiding unit operations.

Requirements include an approved fundamentals course, active Ohio CNA, CPR (BLS), and 1 year of hospital patient care experience within the last three years. Shift is 7pm–7:30am with a rotating schedule, starting pay $19.10/hr.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification.
• Active CNA in Ohio, or equivalent education or experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).

Responsabilités

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs and may assist with minor specimen testing.
• Promotes patient safety, positions patients, and prepares materials for procedures.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Ensures unit areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
• Completes continuing education and may train other staff.
