Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care during night shifts. The role requires a CNA certification, BLS, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG credentials, with experience in acute care settings.

You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to maintain a safe environment and high-quality patient care in a community hospital serving Bristol, PA and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
