Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan’s Chelsea Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support the Med/Surg unit during the night shift. You will assist patients with ADLs, help maintain a safe and compassionate care environment, and document patient information under RN supervision.

The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Trinity Health Michigan; training is provided and weekend/holiday commitments are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older.
• Recent healthcare experience desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; mechanical assistance for heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient positioning.
• Record patient information and document in the appropriate systems.
• Help maintain a clean, safe patient care environment following best practices.
• Support relation-based care and communicate with the RN and care team.
