Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Acute Medical Services unit with a night shift. The role supports patient admission, transfer and discharge, assists with basic patient care and daily living activities, and collaborates with the nursing team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Full-time position with a $1,500 signing bonus available to external hires, contingent on employment requirements.

Qualifications

• One year acute care experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical and information technology systems.
• Supports patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Assists with activities of daily living and personal hygiene as needed.
• Collects information relevant to patient status and notifies RN of changes.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
