Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Patient Care role to support basic patient care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transporting patients, and performing delegated tasks such as vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, and glucose testing.

You will monitor patient status and communicate changes to the nursing team. The position requires no degree, but a BLS certification is required, with a minimum of three months of patient care

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Three months of patient care experience or completion of formal training program required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with transporting patients as needed.
• Perform basic patient care tasks as delegated by an RN (e.g., monitor vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, glucose).
• Monitor patient status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
