Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient registration; greet patients and families, register efficiently and courteously, collect demographics and insurance information.
• Register patients for outpatient testing or hospital admission.
• Verify insurance benefits.
• Collect deposits and co-payments; refer to Insurance Verification as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA, EMTALA, CMS and JCAHO guidelines and regulations.
