Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking staff to support the Patient Access Center across Inpatient, Outpatient, Same Day Services, Wound Care, Infusion, Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include registration, cash handling, admitting and patient education, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, healthcare experience, and CHAA as a preferred credential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Registration training program completed.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reception and patient check-in across departments.
• Pre-registration and registration duties for inpatients and outpatients.
• Cash collection and admitting processes.
• Patient/department support and education as needed.
• Materials and inventory management; unit-specific tasks.
